By: Will Hammersla on 1 December 2016I had been using a petzl hand ascender for a few years before I got my first next gen BD ascender, so it took me a few days to get used to it. It’s a great bit of gear and pretty full proof. I like the simplicity of the camming device. It works well, it opens easy and clips on without a problem. Definitely a safe bet.
