Description

The Edelrid MOE 3R is the first partially recycled sport climbing harness on the market. The abrasion protection of the parallel tie-in points and the load-bearing latch yarn, the slide block buckle and the indicator yarn are the parts of the harness that are not recycled. In order to maximise the proportion of recycled material, a special polyester felt is used as the carrier material instead of foam. The butterfly shape of the hip belt ensures optimum load distribution and comfortable hanging.

Features

  • All textile materials made of polyester are recycled, including the padding
  • Single-origin polyester in all textiles for simple reintegration into the recycling process
  • Butterfly shape for increased hanging comfort and optimum load distribution
  • Fully opening hip belt with self-locking slide-block buckle for comfortable and secure fastening of the harness
  • Large central ring made from recycled polyester in a kernmantle construction for outstanding comfort when standing and belaying
  • Parallel tie-in points on the hip and leg loops with textile abrasion protection made from an HMPE-polyamide blend
  • Red wear indicator in load-bearing straps on the waist belt and leg loops, as well as in the central ring
