Building off the legacy of the original, the newly redesigned Evolv Shaman V2 is the anchor of the Chris Sharma Signature Series. The new Shaman has an improved fit in terms of engineered comfort and performance with more toe rubber for toe hooking and an inset front strap for better medial side toe scumming. The upgrade promises to make current customers appreciate the enhancements while getting new customers to enjoy the legendary performance with comfort.
Due to the increased sensitivity of the new Shamans, many are sizing these down a half size from the previous version of the Shaman.

Big Improvement.By: Will Hammersla on 1 December 2016The Evolv shamans are pretty good. I’ll be honest, they aren’t great, but they are definitely a step up from the first iteration. The rubber is good, the heel is good, the toe is good and the increase in toe rubber means that for the first time the toe hook is good too! To add to this, the fit is super comfy, like out of the box super comfy. Which means that this would be an ideal first pair of aggressive shoes for the next gen boulderer. High performance and high comfort is found in good balance with these bad boys. Large fit, so I went down a half size from my old shamans!
Excellent for All Terrain29 November 2016This shoe is a revolutionary design for both the newer climber and the well trained. With slipper-like comfort and three velcro straps to tighten every aspect of the shoe (especially the heel, which is amazing), it's perfect for routes, boulders, training, indoors and outdoors. I personally prefer to use the Shamans in a training environment as they are comfy enough to leave on my feet for long amounts of time, however, I have also used them in competitions (they are aggressive enough for steeper stuff and the rubber is supple enough for slabs) and outdoors. The Trax rubber is super sticky, it doesn't take much to wear in and it's great almost straight out of the box. Basically, they suit almost every kind of climbing and climber (in my opinion).
Wow!By: Tom on 29 November 2016The V2 is a breakthrough for Evolv. It has a very precise toe and a snug heel. For a really aggressive shoe it is surprisingly comfortable. It is the best fitting climbing shoe I’ve ever bought, very happy with them.
