Three features make this great
By: JP on 22 November 2017This rope bag has been great so far, and I'm putting it down to combining three features that most rope bags have one or two of, but only a few have all of. 1. Quick open/close drawstring mouth on the back, it opens wide and makes getting to rope in and out a breeze. I've only used with a 60m single, but no matter how the rope is bundled, it dumps into the bag through this mouth easily. 2. good sized rope mat 3. back pack straps with some padding - I prefer this to the single shoulder sash, especially if things get a bit technical on approach or descent, having something stable is a help. Those three, combined with a bag that is super light and compact mean that it fits the bill for me. I can't comment on longevity, but the fabrics feel tough enough. 4 stars because I'd like the shoulder straps to be a bit shorter... the tails are stowable but also ridiculous.
