Excellent rope bag - probably the simplest bag to
By: Geoff Matt on 17 January 2022I bought this rope bag off the back of other review which said that it's super easy to pack up when you're finished climbing, and I totally agree. With most other rope bags I've seen you have to fold the tarp around the rope quite carefully in order that the whole thing is the right size to stuff into the main part of the bag. With the Edelrid bag you don't have to do any of that. you just lift up the corners of the tarp, and the rope falls into the central bucket part, and that's it. You just stuff the tarp in on top, it takes about 10 seconds. It's also nicely made with a good shoulder strap and cinch cords. For reference I'm using a 60m rope and it fits in the bucket section of this bag easily, in ase you thought it was only for 30m gym ropes.
